Sunday Stealing: The Blame Tara Meme
Question 1: Who do you think is the hottest movie star?
William Petersen from CSI: Las Vegas
Question 2: Apart from your house and your car, what is the most expensive thing you have ever bought?
my living room set-from ROOMS TO GO-i can't find a picture of the entertainment center that came with it.
my dining room set, also from ROOMS TO GO
and my bedroom suit-can't find a picture of it, but it is cherry wood? and my aunt said the style was bombe'. i have a poster bed with the most wonderful mattress, a soft pillow top. the dresser and night stand are matching the dresser has a huge mirror, and the nightstand has a marble top.
i am very thankful for all of this-my uncle was the executor-i know that's not spelled right-and since everything i have ever used in my house was always used and given to me, he said that for once, he wanted me to have something new that i got to pick out myself. this is all bittersweet as the price i paid was my mothers passing. sometimes i think, i'd so much rather have her here with me, healthy and vibrant, but i know we all must die. i am thankful that she is with the Lord and no longer suffering.
Question 3: What is your most treasured memory?
i had a wonderful childhood, my mother and i lived with my grandparents, along with a bunch of dogs, so all of it, i can't pin point any one thing about that.
as an adult, i can say that my most treasured memory was the day that i was saved. i was 27 years old and my church was in revival that week. i know that a lot of people don't believe in hell, but i believe there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. the Lord in His mercy, made it plain to me that i was lost and on my way to hell.
i want to make it clear that it was nothing that i did to earn salvation-there was nothing that i could have done, nothing that i could offer God that i could have bought it. there was only one requirement-to come with a broken heart and contrite spirit and ask for it. when i wanted it more than anything-i would have done WHATEVER God told me to do-and when i got to that spot, all i had to do was ask. i have NEVER regretted it, and nothing can ever be so sweet as the Spirit of the Lord.
